Portuguese DJ Joshua to start new 'Floating Beats' show.

Scientific Sound Asia is pleased to announce that Portuguese DJ Joshua will be starting on our station with his ongoing 'Floating Beats' show every Monday 6 to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT) and repeating on Friday 6 to 8 AM (ICT), Scientific Sound Asia is the online English language radio station for the Asian region broadcasting 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

DJ Joshua hailing from Evora in Portugal defines himself a quality music lover and collector. His love of electronic music in his opinion has been the most attentive draw, thus captivating his interest in a plethora of styles from House to Drum and Bass to Chillout with Techno being the most imposing.

He began to put together his first mixes with his decks in the early nineties, always improving his collection of Vinyl steadfastly. He collaborated on local radio shows with various genres of electronic music and performed at events he had organised with friends. In those early days, whilst accompanying the beginning and growth of the rave scene in Portugal, his interest in developing the culture became evident.

As his taste for these sonorities and the art of DJing was always intense, and after not performing after a series of life changing events, he returned to performing as a disc jockey a few years ago and his podcast under the name " Floating Beats Sessions " was born. His 'Floating Beats' podcast is transmitted on various radio stations internationally, and has this to say about his show 'Music is an art form. Is the fusion of elements that can convey emotions and make the body move ... This is a place where you hear sounds that can float and end up falling onto your body ... Enjoy it'.
