Graham Gold has today published the track list for his weekly Show 'Esta La Musica' on Scientific Sound Asia Radio, the English language radio station for Asia, the show will be aired this Saturday the 21st of December 2019, 8 to 10 PM Indochina Time (ICT). This show is named after a tattoo he had on his right upper arm whilst doing a show in Los Angeles, in the United States in the late nineties.
Although Grahams’ Global fame in the music industry was born through his weekly shows on London's Kiss 100 and his London club brand 'Peach', Esta La Musica started after he left Kiss 100 and relocated to South East Asia, using the name etched onto his arm as a new Techno show 'Esta La Musica’.
Graham’s initial fame in London, United Kingdom came about because of his ten year, six nights a week residency at Gullivers Club in London’s Mayfair for the whole of the eighties 1980-1990. His upward journey begun aged 17 when, in the early seventies Gold's love of Afrocentric music led to a sought after mobile disco which he started with a friend, 'The Funky Road Show' became the most sort after brand in West London.
By the age of 18, Graham was laying down black music 5 nights a week in the capital city. This begun a journey in the 80’s across many pirate radio stations across the capital and a voyage through the genres taking him from Reggae, Soul, Disco and Jazz Funk. Consequently, this led to him joining the Radio London Soul Night Out team and a weekly Saturday night soul show on London's Capital FM, winning the 'Broadcaster of the year' in 1985.
Graham was with Kiss FM from their very beginnings in London and this is where he gained global recognition as a DJ. His weekly shows were seen as the springboard to the success of Kiss and propelled him onto the global stage with a consecutive 8 years in the DJ Magazine Top 100 and his admission onto Dash's "Most Popular DJs in the World of All Time." Graham still has a massive following internationally and maintains his passion for music with his weekly show.
