Esher publishes playlists for 'Alternative Method' 04 with guest Ezmun.
Esher has published the playlist for his 'Alternate Method' 04 show back to back with guest DJ Ezmun airing Sunday the 1st of November 2020 2 PM to 4 PM Indochina Time (ICT) and Thursday 2 AM to 4 AM (ICT). Scientific Sound Asia is an underground radio station for Vietnam, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, The Philippines and Asia.
Esher, hials from the northern reaches of Melbourne, Australia. Esher has a rich history in music production and DJing, ranging from trance, techno to dubstep to DnB. He has been influenced by the likes of Mad Zach, Ivy Lab, Noisia and Imanu and uses this influences in his own distinct sound.
With multiple years of experience producing and spinning on the decks Esher conveys a unique experience combining vast atmosphere, gritty basslines and complex drum patterns he is setting his sights on his first label release in the coming year. Esher hopes a weekly show will enable him to explore his beatmatching skills and open himself to the wider world once his first release are out.
Guest DJ Ezmun.
Ezmun is originally from Cumbria in the United Kingdom, he has recently relocated to Vietnam to grow his music ambitions both as a DJ and producer. Unfortunately, Covid forced him to temporarily relocate to Melbourne, from here he will release a weekly show pushing his favourite sounds.
Ezmun, like many DJs started off in his bedroom and this led to house parties involving close friends and cohorts. Fast Forward to 2019 and he finally made his breakthrough into clubs, playing venues in Manchester, Hanoi, Laos and Ho Chi Minh City.
Enamored with the dark sparse atmosphere of minimal half time 140s and the lairy clatter of percussive leftfield bass, he implements these as peaks and troughs in an energetic techno setting. Ezmun is slowly gaining notoriety amongst the underground in Vietnam and is hoping to make his way back there.
In the meantime he will explore the Melbourne underground scene and continue to hone his production skills with a view to release his own music next year. Cooking With Gas is an opportunity for him to showcase his friends and other undiscovered DJs, as well as exploring the genres he loves in more detail.
